Congrats! BTW, I'm new HERE, but not new on classicmarvelforever. Pretty sure you'd recognize the name.
I sent Uatu my character, but haven't been approved or denied yet. I can't wait to get started!

Hey guys (and congrats TD!), also welcome outlaw & gene
Unfortunately though, it seems this one's lost a lot of steam since first started some months back; I think we've lost a few of the regulars to attrition and RL (which is/was expected somewhat), so I'm currently debating course of action.
This was originally started as a trial to see what/how Play-by-Post worked like in comparison to tabletop games, and surprisingly it turned out really terrific (mainly in part due to you fantastic RPers) despite not really getting very far, as far as story. It was different and challenging but also had its own inherent perks as well. In hindsight, there are things of course I think I'd approach differently as well.
Anyway, at this point, I'm putting the feelers out to see what you guys think, as there are potential newcomers on deck, and some older players who've faded away maybe for good. Are enough of the original players still into the game to continue? Would a total reboot and fresh start be welcome with a different cast and/or scenario, integrating some of the potential new players? Or, just close things down and say thx for playing? (which I'd mean sincerely, as it was fun while momentum lasted). Any feedback appreciated.

I, of course, would like to see the game continue..Either in its original form or rebooted.
Oh and BTW, if the game doesnt shut down, I have a few other characters I will be submitting. I will only be playing 1, but tend to like to give the GM options.

I'm good either way: reboot, rehash, or wing it from here. I'd like to keep this same character though as long as he'd make sense in the next game.
I guess it would be helpful to know how often other people post or want to post. I can see how it turns into a problem when we are in our own scenes and moving along at our own pace, and then the characters are brought together. If you have one person posting every day, another once a week, and a third in between that then people can get frustrated. One person is annoyed that they are always waiting on the others to show up, one person is annoyed that he thought he signed up for a slow paced game and it's not, etc. My main concern was being a burden to other players, so if I know everyone else is playing a lot faster than me I can decide to either speed up or drop out. No harm, no foul.
Personally I always take a while to get going but can keep going for the long haul. Since I'm already up and running with this character I'm cool with wherever you want to go with this.

Personally, I'd like to play. Whether it's with the character I submitted or a new one, I really don't care as long as I get to play. I've played both tabletop and pbp, and I enjoy both, but this is the only one I've access to right now, and I'm hankering for some RP!
That being said, I would like to use the character I submitted. And, if you like, i have an idea; have each one of us create the arch villain for one of the other existing characters (or reboot, whatever). We've used this in tabletop before where I had everyone pass their characters to someone else, who then created the villain to suit that hero. So everyone had two characters, one hero, and one villain, just never the villain for their own hero. This could help us in storyline alot by allowing everyone to pitch in scenarios. Obviously, everything would still be moderated by Uatu, and we'd still have to keep everything within current storyline, but it would make for interesting subplots and dynamic gaming.
What do you guys think?

Hard to stay interested when the game stops for long periods of time. If this keeps going I'll come along, or try to.

Hey guys & gal, thanks for the input. Though there's interest, I'll need to shut things down for a while. There are things with this PBP format that work and things that simply don't, so I'm going to take some time to re-tool issues I would've liked to tackle a bit differently from the start, now that I can better gauge how things go. Good thing is this site is pretty much setup to run a relatively smooth game, so I'll announce a relaunch for any still interested on CMF at some point and we can give it another go. Thanks original players, and sorry to cut prematurely for the new guys; hopefully get you in a more solid adventure soon.
I'm going full transparency on this one now (one of the things I'd likely do differently), so enjoy the back stories. The reboot may/may not continue from this; for now, we'll see.
