David is an extremely successful private investigator. David joined the marine corps at the age of 18. This caused a falling out with his super rich uptight lawyer father. His brother Scott went into the family business and eventually took over the family lawfirm. At the age of 25, David volunteered to join to join a special ops team called Black Briar. In order for him to join this team, he underwent extreme training in martial arts and weapons training. He also underwent experimental enhancement procedures designed to give him an edge. Nothing ever seemed to come of these procedures, and eventually this special ops team was disbanded. David was now 27 and decided to retire from the marines. He joined the police force and at the age of 30, he was mortally wounded in a fire fight with some thugs armed with super hightech weaponry. after recovering, David retired again and this time opened his own private detective firm and began working closely with the police. Shortly before his 31st birthday, his father died and in a move that surprised him, he found that his father had left him almost 100 million dollars. David immediately bought the building he is based out of and then began to outfit himself to fight a war on crime. Around this time, he started finding out that those procedures actually had started to work and he began developing powers. He practiced and practiced until he was able to control them. Then he began to use his powers to help people.
